Hafiz Firdaus bin Abdullah was born in Kuala Lumpur in 1971 and earned his primary and secondary education from St. John’s Institution, Bukit Nanas, Kuala Lumpur. In 1989 he joined Penerbangan Malaysia (Malaysia Airlines) as a pilot.

From the very beginning he has a great desire in gaining religious knowledge. His career as a pilot has given him a lot of advantages in understanding the Deen from a wider perspective. At the same time he also learnt from various scholars and sources around the world.

Holding on to the concept of “Not who saying it but what is he saying”, Hafiz Firdaus started to write in 1999. His method of implementing the beliefs and laws of Islam (Manhaj) is by researching a topic from the source of earlier scholars and coordinate and transmit them in a much simpler manner and more relevant to the current issues.

Alhamdulillah good responses from the readers has motivates him to keep on writing on topics that are more important and significant. Up till now Hafiz Firdaus has written many books with Penerbitan Jahabersa, receiving wide acceptance in Malaysia and the neighbouring countries. Other than writing he gave lectures at various universities throughout Malaysia.
